Interview with C. Lynn

1. What inspired you to write Christian self help books?

Having been through a great deal of pain in my life, I wanted to encourage
others that through the strength of Jesus, we can all make it to the other
side, healed, delivered and whole.

2. What is your favorite bible scripture and how does it influence you?
Actually, it is the whole chapter of John 15. It inspires me to stay connected to the True Vine and to bear fruit in my
life because with out Him I can do nothing. It tells me that I can ask my Father for whatever I desire in the Name of
Jesus and it shal be done. It lets me know my life is not my own instructing me to lay it down for others.

3. Who is your favorite Christian author and how have they inspired your work?
Peter J. Daniels. His work and words (I got a chance to see him in person) have inspired me to take courage and follow my dreams.

4. What things are you currently working on?
Wow! God is good to me and His inspiration is forever flowing freely. I am currently writing three seperate books.
The first: The Curse is Broken - this book is for my future grand and great grandchildren. I wanted them to know the history of our family, how sin has tried to destroy us and how Jesus saved us. It will not be available for the public.

The second: A Man and His Wife - this book will be available to the public in November (God willing). It is a book written by my husband and myself sharing our tips on what makes a healthy marriage.

The third: FORGIVE - this is a ficition book of short stories.

5. How has the things in your life affected your style of writing and who do you hope to aim your books to?
The majority of my work is non-fiction. I write about what I and others that I know have experienced and overcome in life. Therefore my audience is those who have been wounded, suffering and to those who my be struggling in different situations.

6. What do you think the young people of todays society are greatly influenced by and how do you feel you can help them overcome this difficulty?
I think our yooung people are influenced by not knowing who they are. One of my greatest passions is to assist people in finding out their gifting and to follow the dream God hass placed in their heart.
I take the position if our young people could do this it will provide a different and more strategic course in life.

7. Where do you hope to be in 10 years?
Having fulfilled my assignment which God has given me for Flint and to have written "30" of my goal of 60 books.

8. What is your greatest hurdle you have overcome in life and how has it strengthen you?
One of the greatest hurdles is learning to forgive everybody including myself for all the harm done. It has strengthened me by giving me the liberty I need to live a peaceful and joy-filled life.

9. Who is your greatest Christian idol and how do they help you go on in this daily life?
To be honest, I have no Christian idol. I look to my example Jesus Christ to measure myself. I have found He is more than enough to keep me going.

10. What other ministries are you involved with in your church?
I participate in street ministry, clothing and food giveaways, singing and sharing the good news!
