Staying on the right track with God

“No temptation has seized you except what is common to man, and God is faithful he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted he will provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.” I Corinthians 10:13. The Lord suffered as we do each and every day with depression, rejection, anxiety, hurt and temptations along with other daily trials; however he went on about his daily duties preaching and spreading the word of the Gospel to the unsaved. We need to do the same by putting God first in out lives, as stated in Matthew 6:33 “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all things will be added to you.” If we ask God he will provide and we will feel the joy that he brings to us. Sometimes as Christians we stumble and fall but we need to put him first even when we are in the valleys. It is when we are in the valleys that we grow and experience the close relationship with God and draw closer to him. As young people we face temptations daily but remember the Lord is always there to help you, no matter what it is you are experiencing. God will bring you out of the valley stronger and more knowledgeable than went you went in. In Luke 11:4 “Lead us not into temptation.” Jesus was tempted even in the desert by Satan but he came out a stronger individual to help the unsaved souls of the world. In Hebrews 2:18 “Because he himself suffered when he was tempted he is able to help those who are being tempted.” When you are experiencing pain, rejection, or hurt that might lead you to temptation, God is there and he understands. Hebrews 4:15 “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are yet was without sin.” So remember for that overall peacefulness that we are all aiming for the answer is to go to the Lord and he will provide for us if only we ask.
