Because life is full of choices, men must choose to act in faith or fear
almost daily. Power is released through these choices, whether for good or
ill. The ripple effect affects many. The consequences are eternal.
God is still calling man to rule and subdue. His commission has not changed.
But because of choices made in the Garden of Eden, man's circumstances have.
Choosing to have his eyes open to both good and evil has had an effect on
his mind, imagination and courage.
All the resources of the universe are available through Christ for man to
live a victorious life; the life of triumph and dominion God has envisioned
him to live. Jesus bought back for him God's favor at Calvary. He again has
the right to all he forfeited to Satan in the Garden.
God's frustration now is to convince man of this. Forever encouraging, God
explains how to protect the mindset a man must have to prevail. The mindset
he had when he was first created:
Ephesians 6:16 "... taking up the shield of faith with which you will be
able to extinguish all the flaming missiles of the evil one."
God's passion for man is as strong today as it ever was. His commitment has
never faltered or waned. He still feels the same.
Isaiah 43
But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob,
And He who formed you, O Israel,
"Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name; you are Mine!
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
And through the rivers,
they will not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be scorched,
Nor will the flame burn you.
For I am the Lord your God,
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I have given Egypt as your ransom,
Cush and Seba in your place.
Since you are precious in My sight.
Since you are honored and I love you,
I will give other men in your place
and other peoples in exchange for your life.
Do not fear, for I am with you."
Man, you are a warrior and a king. Created to have dominion. Designed to
rule and reign. It's in your nature to do so. God's done all He could to
equip you to fulfill your destiny. His favor is on you. His might is behind
you. He expects you to "pass through the waters" and "walk through the
fire." To live a life of great adventure. To seek out challenges. To slay
dragons. That's what kings and warriors do!
What kind of life will you live? One of faith or fear? Victory or failure?
You choose when you make your choice of action. What will the "God given"
powers of your mind, imagination and strength be used for?
Choose this day, whom you will serve.
