SHIRLEY part 4

I SEND COMFORT

I pray these humble words offer a bit relief.

May you find some comfort where once you had grief.

Think of the Autumn time of year when the trees stood tall,

with leaves a bright color heralding in the Fall.

If inclined, just sit by the river. Take notice of the leaves.

They will change color for you in the gentle Autumn breeze.

Schedule some time to enjoy the river down by the flood wall.

This serenity given from God is free to us all.

Try not to get down on yourself. Never think life is unfair.

Absorb the strength of the wind as it blows through your hair.

Close your eyes to the world. Listen to the water flow.

You will know God is with you when you feel a warm inner glow.

The calendar hanging on your wall does not reveal God’s date.

Until He says it is your time you must patiently wait.

Sending love and prayers.
