God's rain, baptism of the holy spirit

Hosea6:3

       "Let us acknowledge the LORD;
       let us press on to acknowledge him.
       As surely as the sun rises,
       he will appear;
       he will come to us like the winter rains,
       like the spring rains that water the earth."

I was lost you called my name; you came and rescued me.
My soul was dry, you sent the rain, and you poured it over me.
You gave me new life, and made me your own; and sent living water from your throne.

Let your rain fall, let it cover my soul; let your living water make me whole.
My spirit is sustained by that living Holy rain; I thirst for nothing plain,
let your rain fall
