My name is Jackie and I am the creator of Embracing the Rain. I was born in Detroit MI. and moved to Flint, MI. in 1965 where I lived most of my life. I attended Baker College & Mott Community College. I enjoy creating computer graphics and designing web pages. My passion though is telling people the "Good News" of Jesus Christ!

I accepted Jesus at the age of 16. Over the years I fell in and out of churches. I seemed to allow my feelings get hurt at every church I attended. I went to all different kinds of churches, looking for the love that  was described in the bible. Only to find, no matter what church I attended, there were requirements to "stay" forgiven. When I was 40 I started to go to Glad Tidings a Pentecostal Church of God in Flint. That is where I found peace with God. Salvation was a free gift! It wasn't about sacrifices, it was about knowing who God really was. He loved me and he accepted me just the way that I am. I surrendered to Jesus and  my attitude towards churches changed. I started to change! I let go and let God take over. I started writing poetry and creating artwork to express myself and my new walk with God. I feel like God has called me to minister to the hurting. The ones that feel rejection. To teach them to let God work in their hearts, not peoples comments. Show them how to embrace the Holy Spirit and walk in victory and joy! I hope you are blessed by our web pages. We would love to hear from you.

God Bless and enjoy the rain!

I was lost you called my name; you came and rescued me.
My soul was dry, you sent the rain, and you poured it over me.
You gave me new life, and made me your own; and sent living water from your throne.

Let your rain fall, let it cover my soul; let your living water make me whole.
My spirit is sustained by that living Holy rain; I thirst for nothing plain,
 let your rain fall

Endless Worship
