Your Father Who is He?

Some individuals look towards their earthly Father as a mentor,
and some look towards their Heavenly Father. Who do you look towards?

Your earthly Father may not always be there for you. He may treat you harshly
or even abuse you. He may have left you to be on your own. I have good news for
you, your Heavenly Father will never do these things. He is always there to help
you, when no one else is present.

Hebrews 13:5
"I will never leave you or abandon
you."

Psalm 46:1 states,
 "Our God is a refuge and strength in an ever-present time
of trouble."

Our heavenly Father knows everything about us, he knows our deepest secrets. Whereas, our
earthly Father sometimes doesn't care or won't listen.

"Psalm 44:21 "Would not God have
discovered it, since he knows the secrets of the heart."


God will bring us an overwhelming feeling of peacefulness. Sometimes our earthly father will
only bring us bitterness or sorrow.

"Isaiah 26:3 "You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind
is steadfast because he trusts in you."

Our earthly Father may not be the comforter in times of need or he may not be loving or kind father you desire. But our heavenly Father
will be there to comfort you and to show you mercy for it is promised:

 2 Corinthians 1:3
"Praise be to the God
and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort."
 
And you can always count on God's promises!

2 Corinthians 1:20
"For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God."


You may not have the perfect relationship with your earthly father, But that is ok,  God, is our perfect Father and is there for you.
